Work Experience Week 2026

Our work experience week this year has been better than ever before. Students spent the first part of the week immersed in observation days, paired with insightful tutorial sessions led by our owner, Dr Imaan. They shadowed a range of our dentists and hygienists, getting a front row seat to the many different types of treatment carried out across the practice, from simple fillings to complex implant procedures. This gave them a genuine feel for the breadth and variety within dentistry as a profession, and a chance to see first hand how a real dental practice runs day to day.

Following a week of observation, students moved on to a full day of hands on, immersive experience. They got stuck into drilling and filling on models and real extracted teeth, mixed alginate, and took impressions, skills that form the foundation of clinical dental work. They also had the opportunity to see modern technology in action, including intraoral scanning, giving them a look at how digital dentistry is shaping the future of the industry.

It was a fantastic week all round, and we're proud to have given these students such a well rounded introduction to life in dental practice, one that we hope inspires the next generation of dental professionals.
