Dental Work Experience Day 2025

Students spent the day watching live extractions, root canals, and crown preps, with each step explained as it happened, then moved onto models to actually drill and fill themselves — the kind of practice that quickly separates steady hands from shaky ones. Teaching came from across the experience spectrum, from a senior dentist with over 30 years in the chair to a foundation dentist and current dental students, so questions got answered from every stage of the career, not just the top. The day closed with one-to-one interview prep, working through how to actually talk about the experience in applications and interviews rather than just having had it.
